Drive more traffic to your website
You can have the best website in the world but if no one finds it, it’s useless.
Alongside a great website, I will create a traffic strategy to drive visitors to your site.
The two primary ways to drive traffic to your site are:
- PPC (Pay per click advertising)
- SEO (Search engine optimisation)
Pay Per Click (PPC)
Google Adwords is the primary PPC platform.
In a Google search, the top and bottom three or four listings (which are marked Ad) are the paid for Adwords ads.
Adwords allows you to get your ad onto the front page of Google for your chosen keywords almost immediately.
PPC works by charging you every time someone clicks on your ad, which ensures it is a highly targeted and cost effective type of advertising.
Several of the social media platforms also offer PPC capabilities. Facebook is the most effective of these.
If you are looking for immediate increased website traffic I will advise and execute a PPC campaign for you.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Search engine optimisation is the route to getting your website to rank highly within the organic listings in Google.
Google’s objective is to provide the best search experience and results for their users, which means they look for the most authoritative sites to match the search terms.
The key issues we know they look for are:
- Recently updated, high quality content
- The authority of in bound links from other sites
- The social signals from your social media
However Google change their algorithms regularly so the importance of the criteria can change at any time.
While PPC is almost immediate, SEO is a longer term strategy with less immediate results.
